Overview
Alarmbara is an iPhone alarm app provided by Choi Chan Ho under the Salt Kit brand.
This policy explains what information Alarmbara uses and how it is handled.
Information We Use
Alarm Data
Alarmbara stores alarm settings on your device, such as alarm time, repeat days, labels, selected sounds, snooze state, and related alarm history.
This information is used to schedule and manage alarms. It is not sent to Salt Kit servers.
Location Data
If you allow location permission, Alarmbara uses your current location to show local weather information.
The app may send latitude and longitude to the Open-Meteo weather API to request weather data. The app may also use Apple system services, including MapKit reverse geocoding, to show a readable place name.
Location permission is optional. If you deny location permission, alarm features remain available.
Weather Data
Alarmbara caches weather snapshots on your device to keep the app responsive and to show recent weather information when a fresh request fails.
Purchases
If Alarmbara offers paid content, purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Alarmbara may store entitlement status needed to unlock purchased features. Payment information is handled by Apple, not by Salt Kit.
Diagnostics and Analytics
The current app does not include a third-party analytics or advertising tracking SDK.
Apple may provide crash reports or diagnostics according to the user's Apple device settings and Apple's policies.
How Information Is Used
Alarmbara uses information to schedule and manage alarms, show selected alarm sounds and alarm history, display local weather context when location permission is granted, unlock purchased features if purchases are enabled, and improve app reliability.
Sharing
Alarmbara does not sell personal information.
Information may be processed by Apple for App Store purchases, system alarm features, crash reports, and platform services; by Open-Meteo when location-based weather is requested; and by Apple MapKit or system location services when reverse geocoding is used.
Data Retention
Alarm data and cached weather data are stored on the device. Deleting the app removes local app data from the device according to iOS behavior.
You can revoke location permission in iOS Settings at any time.
Children
Alarmbara is not directed to children.
